Recruitment process

Step 1: The Application Stage

First impressions count, so please make sure your CV is up to date with all relevant information included.

Please take the time to view our vacancies and once you’ve found a job that suits your skills and experience, click the link to apply.  We will ask a few initial application questions and then simply upload your CV with any supporting information.

Step 2: The Recruitment Process

All applications are reviewed against the recruitment criteria and if it feels like a good match, we’ll contact you to arrange an interview.

Our recruitment process varies depending on the role and requirements, the first stage may be a telephone interview or a face to face meeting but the process will be discussed with you at this stage. The first interview is a great opportunity for us to get to know each other so you’ll be encouraged to ask questions.  If you’re successful at this stage the recruitment team will be in contact to advise on next steps.

Depending on the requirements for the role these may include face-to-face, assessment centres, technical or personality assessments or presentations.

Our interviews are competency based and depending on the role we may ask you technical questions relating to key accountabilities.  Please ensure you are familiar with competency-based questions, there’s lots of information out there to assist with your planning and research so please take advantage.

Step 3: Outcome

On completion of the recruitment process we will contact you to update you on your application.

If your application has been successful, we will contact you to discuss the offer details and answer any questions.  All our offers are subject to referencing due to FCA regulations, this will be explained in your offer pack but will be discussed at offer stage.  Your offer letter and contract will then be sent out in the post and emailed to you.

If your application is not successful, we’ll contact you to let you know you haven’t been successful on this particular occasion. We are actively recruiting across a number of business areas and locations so we would like to keep in touch.  You can set yourself up for job alerts where you’ll receive an email notification of future opportunities based on your search criteria.

FAQs

How can I retrieve a forgotten password?

Please click the following link https://www.networxrecruitment.com/oneaccount/account/logintype/1369 and click on “Forgotten Password Link”

Can I just my CV forward speculatively?

We would always encourage candidates to apply for particular jobs rather than applying speculatively.  You are able to set up job alerts, which send you email notifications on vacancies matching your search criteria.

What happens once I’ve applied?

Vitality will e-mail every single person who applies to let them know the outcome of their application, successful or not.  Unfortunately, we are not able to provide specific feedback for each unsuccessful application.  However, if you reach interview stage we will provide you feedback.

Do you conduct pre-employment checks?

All candidates will need to prove their eligibility to work in the UK.  Suitable documents will include a valid passport, or a full birth certificate together with a P45 document (P45, P60, NI card, government agency letter) along with proof of address. As part of our pre-employment process we will also conduct referencing and credit checks.

Recruitment Agencies

We have an agreed Preferred Supplier List (PSL) who we work with to provide assistance when requested to our in-house recruitment team.  Vitality are not in a position to accept any speculative CVs from agencies outside of our PSL.  Any unsolicited emails sent to hiring managers, HR or the Recruitment team will be deleted or destroyed. We’re not currently looking to review our PSL, however, if you are from an agency and wish to provide recruitment services to us, please feel free to email your details to recruitment@vitality.co.uk and we will keep this information on file for potential future consideration.
