Out-patient Cover
Helps pay for:
✓ Specialist consultations and consultant fees
✓ Diagnostic tests – MRIs, CTs and PET scans, blood tests, x-rays, radiology and pathology
✓ Physiotherapy – You don’t need to be referred for physiotherapy by a GP. When you’re a Vitality member and you need to see a physiotherapist, you can book an appointment online through Care Hub.

Our health insurance plan already includes Consultant Select. This offers you a choice of high-quality consultants near you, and you pick which one you would like to see.
You can choose to add a hospital list to your plan, which gives you a wider choice of hospitals you can be treated at. Choose from Countrywide or London Care.

Therapies Cover
Cover for:
✓ Chiropractic and osteopathy treatment – Treatment for bones, muscles, or joints
✓ Chiropody and podiatry treatment – Treatment for your feet. For example, removing corns and calluses
✓ Acupuncture treatment – Traditional Chinese medicine using thin needles
✓ Homeopathy treatment – A traditional remedy which usually uses plants and minerals
✓ Two consultations with a dietician – You may want to speak to a dietician about your nutrition. If you’re referred by a GP or consultant, we’ll pay for two appointments with a dietician.

Your plan includes mental health support, but you can include extra protection. This will cover you for:
✓ Unlimited Talking Therapies – Online or face-to-face counselling, or cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT)
✓ Out-patient consultations with a psychiatrist or psychologist – We’ll pay £1,500 towards these
✓ 28 days of hospital treatment – As either an in-patient or day-patient at a recognised mental health facility.
✓ Unlimited Talking Therapies – Online or face-to-face counselling, or cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT)
✓ Out-patient consultations with a psychiatrist or psychologist – We’ll pay £1,500 towards these

Dental insurance
Makes it more affordable for you to look after your teeth and oral health. It helps cover costs like crowns, root canal treatment and emergency dental work.
This is available now for plans starting on or before 31 August 2021. After this date, Dental Cover will be replaced with Optical, Dental and Hearing Cover.
