The Nuffield Health Gyms difference

What is a qualifying plan for the Nuffield Health Gyms discount?

You’ll qualify for a Nuffield Health Gyms discount if you have one of the following Vitality plans:

50% off discount
Health insurance
Any private health insurance plan.

Business health insurance
Any small business health insurance plan.
Any corporate health insurance plan  or trust scheme administered by VitalityHealth with Vitality Plus benefits.

40% off discount

Any corporate health insurance plan or trust scheme administered by VitalityHealth, with Vitality Select benefits.

Life Insurance 

Any life insurance plan with Vitality Plus or Vitality Select benefits and a minimum monthly premium of £25.

Workplace Wellbeing
Any Vitality at Work plan.

Investment
Any investment plan with Vitality Select and; a minimum amount invested of at least £1,500 after any withdrawals. 
Or, regular investments of at least £100 a month until at least £1,500 invested in total.
 

What is the joining fee for Nuffield Health Gyms?

If you join Nuffield Health Gyms during a ‘no joining fee’ offer, you won’t pay a joining fee. At any other time, the joining fee for new gym members is £35.

How long will my gym contract be?

The Vitality discount applies to the rolling monthly membership. You’ll need to give a full calendar month’s notice if you want to cancel your existing membership.

Can I get the Nuffield Health Gyms discount with Vitality, if I’m already a member?

If you’re already a member at one of the eligible gyms, you can switch your membership over to get the discount. A transfer fee will apply.

You'll need to transfer your gym membership by the 15th of any month. Your new Vitality discounted membership will apply from the following month.

Can I work out at other Nuffield Health Gyms other than my ‘home’ gym?

If you join one of the following gyms, you’ll only be able to use that gym: 
  • Enfield
  • Friern Barnet
  • Kingston
  • Romford
  • Stockley Park
If you join any other gym, access to other gyms will vary depending on the gym you join.

You also have to use your home gym at least 50% of the time to be able to access other gyms in the Nuffield Heath Gyms network.

Why is my local Nuffield Health Gym not included in the list of eligible gyms?

Vitality also offers discounted gym membership with selected Virgin Active Gyms. 

Your local Nuffield Health Gym is thus not included in the list because there is a Virgin Active Gym in the area.
